Dr. Hans Igou , D.D.S

“Dr. Hans Igou (pronounced Eye-go) is a highly skilled board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional care. With extensive training and experience, he is committed to improving the lives of his patients.
Raised on a cattle ranch in Stuart, Oklahoma, Dr. Igou began his professional journey in the United States Army, specializing in biological and chemical weapon detection. His passion for dentistry led him to complete Dental Assisting training with the United States Air Force.
Dr. Igou holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, both earned with a 4.0 GPA from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree with Summa cum Laude honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
To further refine his skills, Dr. Igou completed Advanced Education General Dentistry (AEGD) training and an intensive Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency (OMFS) program at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
As a dedicated volunteer, Dr. Igou provides vital care and surgical services to underserved communities. He has participated in free clinics, supports initiatives like Kids Day, and contributes to local organizations, demonstrating his commitment to improving well-being.
Dr. Igou is a member of the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, and holds certifications Combat Lifesaver Course, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He holds hospital privileges with Mercy hospitals.
Recognized for his outstanding achievements, Dr. Igou has received accolades such as the Distinguished Graduate award and the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges distinction.
Outside of his profession, Dr. Igou values quality time with his wife, Jen, and their two children, Adria and Weston. He embraces a healthy lifestyle, engaging in weightlifting and enjoying the occasional round of golf.
